Visitors are strongly encouraged to plan and book early.Ĭolter Bay Tent Village offers 66 Tent Cabins. As with all campgrounds in the park, the Colter Bay Tent Village is very popular and tends to fill up quickly. The Tent Village includes 66 tent cabins, and is open from mid-May to early-September. The vast Colter Bay Tent Village at Colter Bay Village is set amidst towering lodgepole pines just a short, picturesque stroll away from Jackson Lake. Set against the majestic backdrop of the Teton mountains, Colter Bay Village is a must-visit. Visitors can enjoy hiking, kayaking and canoeing, horseback riding, fishing, swimming and beach-going, lake cruises, and ranger-led programs. Colter Bay has an activity for everyone in the family. This lovely area is set on the shores of Jackson Lake, and offers practical amenities like laundry facilities, showers, restaurants and a grocery store, as well as purely-for-fun diversions like a marina, gift shop, visitor center, and horse corrals. Visitors are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and book early. Those who already have an account are encouraged to confirm their login and password information. Visitors must create an account on the website prior to making campground reservations. Please note that camping reservations cannot be made through the Grand Teton Lodge Company website or call center. Visitors wishing to reserve a tent cabin can do so by visiting. (Ex: If you would like to make reservations for June 1, you can book your reservation starting on December 1 of the prior year).
